That depends. At which point in the game are you? If you're still on the first disk, I'll say YES to your question, but if you're somewhere late on the second disk, I'm at a loss: I'm not quite done with it, to tell you the truth. In the future, ask more specific questions, and supply us (your answerer(s)) with more information, whether or not it seems important. You can gather sidequest materials up to the point where you enter Cor Hydrae. After that, there is no going back.

That's not true; you can always leave Cor Hydrae. I've beaten the game and have it saved before the final battle, and I'm STILL able to go around getting whatever sidequest stuff I have left to find.
