I try to say a cheat code to tom nook, by going to "other things" and "say code", but he just says "you can't use someone else's code! Have you got your own code?" Whats going on? It worked for my friend!

OK I have had this problem with some codes. You can give him 3 codes, sometimes a code will not work as the first code so enter something else for the first try and make sure it works, then add the code for the second choice, if it doesn't work, use another code for the second choice, then add the code you want as the third choice. Most of the time it will work on the second choice, But however it does have to be the third one once in awhile. Once it wouldn't work at all, even when I seen a friend of mind use it.
