In order to get more money withhout doing any hot pursuit races or championship races all you have to do is go onto single race put full grid on and the cops then choose a long track and you need to select eight laps and then do the race and after the race when you look at your money you should be a couple of thousand richer.
This works I have done it loads of times and after a couple of times I had enough money to buy the need for speed edition mclaren f1 lm whick is the fastest car on the game.
