On luigi circuit if you go to 50cc, there are no shortcuts like there are in 100cc and 150cc, there should be a road behind the chain chomp, and also right near the finish line at the end of the hill that you go up on, hope this helped, love ya all...wait... The Parade Kart:The ultimate Kart.You can get this once you complete every single race on every single cup on every single mode.You must also get a gold trophy on all the cups.

I'm pretty sure that's all of the karts.All of these have been manually checked.

To get the Best car in the game,you must acheive everything.That's right.You got to beat all the cups on every mode(easy,medium,hard,mirror)and you must have a gold trophy on all of them.You will then get the Golden Car.

if you check the speeds of the bullet blaster to the speed of the buggies,the buggies are faster!

your going to need two players for this cheat to work.

first,select baby mario as driver and baby luigi as weapons.when you get into a race don't switch around,just keep it how it is.make sure your riding either the rattle buggy(unlock!),or baby marios kart(can't think of the name).This should increase your chances of winning!

This only works if your play as yoshi,so try it out!

First,make yoshi do all the weapons,then when someone gets next to you,no matter how far away they are,he will punch them!

A friend of mine taught me this, and it works!

There are three different types of boost. 1) Mini Boost: Mini Boost is kind of useless. While your skidding, the sparks might turn red. Keep skidding and then there will be blue sparks. Then let go and the mini boost will happen. 2) Boost: Everybody should know about this boost. You get them from every kind of mushroom and when you press A right when it says start at the beginning of the race. 3) Super Boost aka Blue Boost: This is a very rare boost. You have to press A quickly right when it says start and you will get the blue boost. The blue boost lasts for a long time. It is very rare so try to get it.

After you throw a Red Shell forward, it doesn't ricochet; it homes in on the nearest rival kart like a guided missile. It has a long but still limited range and can be avoided if a driver shoots a Green Shell backward just before impact or outswerves the shell with a mini-turbo boost. In Grand Prix, you'll very likely get a Red Shell from an Item Box if your in the middle of the pack.

You can shoot a Green Shell forward or backward. The shell will zip in a line until it hits either a kart, which will take a nasty spin, or a hazardous item like a Banana, which the shell will blow off the track. A Green Shell will ricochet for a long time- making it a persistent nuisance. In Grand Prix, you'll more likely to get a Green Shell the closer you are to first place.

Fake out rivals with the Fake Item. You can throw it forward or drop it behind you. The Fake Item will stay put until another kart runs into it, which triggers the box's mini-explosion, frying the kart's steering for a few moments. In Grand Prix, you'll have a fair chance of getting a Fake Item when in first place, and less of a chance in second or third.

Each character without an item will get one from a double item box. Some double item boxes will appear where Item boxes do; others will show up in fixed locations.

If your rear character has no item in hand when your kart passes through an item box, he'll get a random item. Throw away a held item before you hit the box if you want a chance to get something better.

once when you start the race on bowser's castle go northwest NOTE make shere you have some speed. now you fell down into the water now you should be at the part when you see bowser shoting fireballs at you this is the best way to win

On Rainbow Road there are starmen laying on the road if you run into one
You will be invisincible for a short period of time

At Daisy's Cruiser, at the pool, go right around the edge instead of left. If you don't fall in, it will gain you ground.

When playing 'balloon battle' on 'Mario Kart Double Dash', choose the field 'Pipe Plaza'. Plant a banana in front of one of the pipes. When you run over the banana into the pipe, you will not lose a balloon but you will become invulnerable for a couple of seconds. This also works with other items, but you must make it through the pipe before the balloon comes off your cart.

To get the Toad team you have to beat the Star cup at 100cc.

In Bowsers castle when you come out and go down the steps, you would normally take the turbo jump, right? Wrong. Right before the turn, there is an opening in the track. Take it. You don't need a turbo but you should have one. Be careful, you don't want to get hit by a metal Bowser fireball. This shortcut should get you ahead at least 3 positions. Hope I helped!! :)

To get a boost when you are at the starting line watch the lights go off. Right before the last green light is lit you can press A. You can also press A with all the starting lights so that you will get a small boost and get out of the gate quicker!

To make the special cup easier, what you can do is do it against someone else. This will make it so there's less thwomps and when you get to the grating, there will be no fireballs!

This hint is for the beginners.If you pair up different pair you will get more specials.

When you get to the part where bowser shoots fireballs at you keep driving and do not turn left
Instead there will be a opening, when you get close to it powerslide across the gap, you will land on the other side and skip a u-turn

Either drive into them just after you've used a Mushroom or use a Star and hit them whilst the effect is still on you.

Mini Boost:
When you go round a corner, hold L + R. Then while holding L + R, press the control stick in the opposite direction of the way you are turning. Then repeat until you have blue sparks. Then, at the end of the turn, let go of L + R. If done correctly, you should get a Mini-Boost.

Boost:
At the start of the race when the thing holds the traffic lights, wait until the lights go green. Then press A as soon as the lights turn bright green. If done correctly, you should get a boost.

Turbo Boost:
(Must be on 2p mode, Co-op). Do the same as you do for the boost (see above), but p1 + p2 do it at the same time. If done correctly, you should get a Turbo-Boost.

Ok, this is my favorite combination of people I use it every race unless I'm playing just for fun and I win every single time. Pick a bowser and a donkey kong-big or little, depending on which type of car you like- and use bowser's special to get in first, then use DK's special to stay there. You can also try King Boo or Petey Pirahna for variation or Paratroopa for 3 red shells if you like them better. peace.

Most of you may know this but on donkykongs level before you get to the bridge there is a you turn next to a trench.

If you slow down and make a sharp turn, then floor it you can hop the trench and get ahead of your opponents.

If you have a mushroom of a star then you can go over corners without slowing down.
