This game will spook the pants off you...no really. The terror is non-stop from the start, and it is easily one of the...what, oh, sorry, Luigi's mansion?
I thought I had picked Silent Hill 3...The story is okay, but the cut scenes are quirky, if not brilliantly animated.
The gameplay is actually brilliant, with an intuitive "vaccum cleaner and torch" method, the graphics are a mixture of dark and light textures, with an amazing change when the lights come on.
The graphics are a little blocky though, not nearly pushing your Gamecube to its limits. The sound is fairly good, with effective, if not repetitive, cries from the ghosts. The games main weakness is its brevity.
You will complete it in about 9 hours, if you are an inexperianced gamer. There is also little replayability. The ghosts though, vary wildly, the boss battles are brilliant, if rare, and the game is overall great for quick blasts on a Friday evening.
Graphics 68% (Blocky, but colourful and effective)
Sound 74% (Good shouts, not enough conversation, and effective music)
Gameplay 83% (Inituitive, difficult to master, ghost-catching methods)
Longetivity 53% (Little replayability, short throughout)
Overall 67% (Good, but repetitve and short)
