About this guide-
This is a passwords list guide for the game Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters 8, released on the GameBoy
Advance. This guide also contains other various information about the game. Some
miscellaneous information on other Yu-Gi-Oh games are also listed here.

This guide is best viewed in Wordpad in 600 x 800 screen resolution.

It is highly recommended that you use Blackdiamond's guide along with this password list.


Details on this guide-
The information here is not entirely original. Most of the passwords here have been given to
me by other sites. I have cross-referenced these information, as well as corrected some on
my own, before coming up with this.

Names here are directly translated from Japanese, so they do not follow the English
Version of the Card game. Take note of the Name differences.

Note that I do not have time to check every password, so there may be mistakes in the
passwords.


About the game-
Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters 8 is only in Japanese language currently. This game uses a different
Card Game system from that of the original card games. The rules are different from that of
Eternal Duelist Soul and Stairway to the Destined Duel. The Cards are also different in
terms of effects and statistics.


Review-
As far as I can tell you, this game is a complete failure. It offers more challenge compared
to the previous Duel Monsters series, but that hardly explains the reason behind the greatly
boosted difficulty. Getting Cards are easy in this game, provided you have the password.
Unlike Eternal Duelist Soul and World Wide Edition, passwords can be used more than once,
despite the fact that you still have to pay for them. However, being able to use the cards,
is quite another story. Just because you have a good card, doesn't mean you can use it. Due to
the Deck Capacity and Duelist level system, you can't simply use a card because you have it.
In fact, you would probably have to fight a few hundred duels before you even have enough
space to insert one good card. Furthurmore, that's not the only restrictions. Your opponents
do not play by the rules. They can use more than 1 restricted cards in their decks, and they
usually have more LP. Due to the nature of how this game forces you to fight tonnes of battles
before you even stand a chance of winning, I seriously do not recommend this game. Even though
I have written a guide for this game, it doesn't mean I like it, or I am good at it.

Additional tips-
If you want the benefits of fast Capacity building, you are also forced to link up with a
friend who has the game. Which makes it worse that Pokemon, if not as bad.

It is also possible to get Capacity Points faster through a Game Link. From what I know, in
such Duels, the winner gets 15 points, and loser gets 5 points, and that is much faster than
fighting normal Duelists in the game. The intention of the game producers was most likely that
you have to link up in order to get the best. Sort of like Pokemon, where you have to link to
get all Pokemon.

If you ask me, these games are made with profit emphasis, and such games are not worth
playing compared to other ones.

This is a game that I recommend that you NEVER get!

Let me explain how the Passwords work. In the card shop, there is an orange machine. That is
where you enter the Passwords. It costs 1000 Dominos to use it each time. When you enter a
correct Card Password, one card will be unlocked. However, the card will not go directly
into your trunk. It will appear in the Card Shop, and you will have to buy it from there.
While this system is more troublesome compared to the Eternal Duelist Soul and World Wide
Edition, you have no limits to using the password. You can have as much cards as you want.

Special Passwords -

Wing Dragon of Ra (Phoenix Mode) Password
- 51404976 -

This Password allows you to obtain the Wing Dragon of Ra (Phoenix Mode). You can enter this
Password anytime, but it will take effect only after the event in China, where you fight the
Millenium Item guardian and Simon Muran.

After you have entered the password, and after you have at least completed the China Event,
go back to Egypt and there will be an event with Marik and Odion. Marik will take the
Wing Dragon of Ra (Battle Mode) from you, and he will transform it into Wing Dragon of Ra
(Phoenix Mode).

The Phoenix Mode is more powerful than the Battle Mode. The activation effect of the Phoenix
Mode is better. You can simply discard this card from your hand to summon Battle Mode.


Reshef Impact Goemon Change
- 25410867 -

This password will change the appearence of Reshef.

What the crap?! Is this someone's idea of a joke? Well, it's not very funny. It stinks!
The password changes Reshef into a bloody stupid looking thingamajig. I can't imagine what
would influence the game staff into doing something as stupid as this. Probably their
brains. (Or lackthereof.)

It doesn't seem to do anything else, and there doesn't seem to be a way to undo it.

Q: Do you recommend I get this game?

A: No, I don't. Apart from the fact that the game is in Japanese, this game forces you to
   fight an extreme number of battles before you can even face up to the stronger enemies.
   As far as I feel, this game is poor in design, and not worth the effort playing.

Q: What other Yu-Gi-Oh games have been released for the Gameboy Advance?

A: Apart from the Duel Monster series, there are games like Eternal Duelist Soul, Stairway
   to the Destined Duel (US) International (JAP), and 2004 Championship. Eternal Duelist
   Soul is a Remake of Yu-Gu-Oh Duel Monsters 5 Expert, and Stairway to the Destined Duel
   and International is a remake of Duel Monsters 6 Expert 2. 2004 Championship is a US
   version of Yu-Gi-Oh Expert 3. Expert 3 seems to be international, and is not part of the
   Duel Monster Series.

Q: Do you recommend I get Eternal Duelist Soul and World Wide Edition Stairway to the
   Destined Duel?

A: Yes, I highly recommend you to play these 2 games instead. From my personal experience,
   I find these 2 games much better.

Q: What is Yu-Gi-Oh The Sacred Cards about?

A: Yu-Gi-Oh The Sacred Cards is simply Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters 7 in English. The names of
   the cards and characters, are fitted to that of the US version. The artwork of the
   cards are also changed.

   As for whether I recommend this game or not, I can't tell, but the reviews I have read
   tell me that this game is reasonably better than Duel Monsters 8, and has a decent
   but not impossible difficulty.

Q: What other differences are there between Sacred Cards and Duel Monsters 7? Which do you
   recommend? What are the art differences?

A: Obviously, if you can't read Japanese, I would recommend the US version. But if you
   can read Japanese, then I recommend Duel Monsters 7.

   How do you like a naked Water Osmotics (mizu no odoriko) ? Would you like to see the
   natural nude beauty of Fairy's Gift? Don't you wish to see the green nipple of the
   Arlonway (Alura Une) ? Maybe a nice view of the Spirit of the Mountain and the
   Ill Witch (Siren) would interest you? Have you seen the Water Girl's sexy outfit?

   Those were among the cards that were changed in the English version. They removed all
   those nudity.

   Resurrection of Chakra is also changed for some wierd reason. The girl is now wearing a
   top. This card was not changed in the Eternal Duelist Soul and World Wide Edition, but
   it's edited here.

   Oh well, on the plus side, Sacred Cards did not change some of the cards. Cats Fairy
   and Cats Lady (Nekogals) are still wearing thongs. Short skirts and sexy dresses
   like the Dark Witch (Valkyrie)  Gemini Elf and Goddess of Whim are not changed. It's also
   a good thing that the oversized assets of Kanan the Swordsmistress and Maiden of the
   Moonlight are not reduced to what you get in Eternal Duelist Soul.

Q: Is there anything hentai in Eternal Duelist Soul?

A: I'm so glad you asked. Okay, go select to duel Yami Yugi. Now look carefully at the
   backround art behind him.

   Look carefully at the background art of Yami Yugi, at the Dark Magician Girl. What
   do you see? In case you haven't noticed, the nipple on her left breast is exposed.
   It might not be that visible on a GBA screen, since it's small.

Q: Where is the best place to gain Deck Capacity points?

A: It is after the game, where the secret duelists can give you much points. However,
   it will be even a miracle to defeat the Reshef to begin with.

   If you're fighting the Millenium Guardian in China, 5 times in a row, that's the
   best place to earn points. Still, the progress is slow.

   From what I have heard, if you link up with a friend and duel, the winner gets
   15 Capacity points, while the loser gets 5 Points. If you cooperate, you can get
   points quickly.

Q: How do I use the 3 God Cards?

A: You have to offer 3 tributes to summon them. These monster will not be affected by any
   effects, apart from powering down. You opponent can't even force you to dicard them from
   your hand! The only known way to destroy them is to get a Monster with higher Att to
   attack them. (Of course, you can choose to destroy them yourself or discard them, but
   why would anyone want to do that?)

Q: The Password for the Winged Dragon of Ra (Phoenix) does not work!

A: Sigh. Wait until you have at least completed the Simon Muran event in China. Then talk
   to Marik and Odion/Rishido after you have entered the password.

Q: I am playing Reshef of Destruction US. I need a password for a card, but you do not have
   the card listed.

A: No, I have all the cards listed, but not in their American names. The list I have is
   arranged by Card ID. Get the Card ID No, don't try to go for the name. Take the password
   for that Card ID.

Q: The Password for Dark Magician Girl doesn't work!

A: Some cards passwords will not work for the US version of the game. That's just the way
   it is.

Q: Is there an English version of this game?

A: The US version of this game has been released. It is known as Yu-Gi-Oh Reshef of
   Destruction.

Q: What differences are there between the Jap version and US version of this game?

A: Besides the obvious language difference, and the change of Card names, the artwork of
   some of the cards have been changed. Those card artwork that have nudity have been
   edited. Apart form that, I do not know of other differences.

Q: Can you tell me where to get the rom?

A: Listen here real good. I DON'T GIVE PEOPLE ROMS. You want the rom, go find it yourself.
   I could care less about it.

Q: Why are the rules and card effects so different than the actual game?

A: That's just the way it is.

Q: Damn! I am having a problem defeating (insert Duelist name here)! How do I defeat him/her?

A: The same way you defeat anyone else. If you have managed to summon one of the 3 God
   Monsters on your field, there is a greater than 90% chance that you will win the match.
   More info in the next question.

   The easiest way would be to simply discard a Wing Dragon of Ra (Phoenix) from your hand.
   Pray hard that you can draw one in a tough battle.

   Best thing is to use Swords of Revealing Lights, and Monsters that can produce other
   Monsters such as Revival Slime or Doron, then offer them as tributes.

Q: There is a major handicap flaw in this game! Not only do the strongest enemies uses the
   strongest cards, they also have massive Life Points. Cards restrictions also don't matter
   to them, as they can put 3 of any card.

A: That's the idea of this game. As if the Deck Capacity and Duelist level limitations aren't
   bad enough, your enemy has such a massive advantage. Even if you have a massive deck
   capacity and high level, you will always be behind your enemies. They do not play by the
   rules.

   The only advantage that you have is the use of the 3 God Cards, which are almost
   indestructible in battle. If you draw a Winged Dragon of Ra (Phoenix), even Reshef cannot
   win you. (Unless by direct damage.)

   Imagine being bombarded by Swords of Revealing Lights, Raigekis, Black Holes, Thousand
   Eyes Sacrifice, Change of Hearts, and 3 times in a row at that! How do you expect to win?
   That's what you have to go through to play this game.

Q: Where can I find Yu-Gi-Oh hentai?

A: Listen pal. Just because I like hentai and porn, and because I like Yu-Gi-Oh, doesn't
   mean I go all out to search for that. In fact, I'm still looking, and I honestly do
