Summary ----------- This guide will tell you how to get all of the Legendary Pokemon in POKEMON FIRE RED/LEAF GREEN VERSION. This means that we'll tell you what you need to get them, and where to get them. The Legendary Pokemon that we will be telling you about are: MEW, MEWTWO, ARTICUNO, ZAPDOS, MOLTRES, TOGEPI, UNOWN, SUICUNE, ENTEI, RIAKOU, LUGIA, HO-OH, CELEBI, GROUDON, KYOGRE, RAQUAZA, JIARCHI, DEOXYS, REGISTEEL, REGIROCK, and REGIICE. This guide does not work with cheat devices, so there won't be any GAMESHARK, or ACRION REPLAY codes in this guide. NOTE: Every pokemon is obtainable by a cheat device. Just some thats the only way to get them. -------- A. Tips -------- Always SAVE YOUR GAME before encountering one of these POKEMON. ------- 1. MEW ------- Mew is the rarest POKEMON ever created. He can learn ANY attack. He is also only obtainable by a cheat device or by trading it from EMERALD. INTERESTING FACT: MEW make the sound mewww, mewww, because he looks like a cat, and cats mewww. ---------- 2. MEWTWO ---------- MEWTWO is probably the only pokemon I know that WO in it's name. And for good reason. First off he lies within the CERULEAN CAVE. In order to gain acces into there, you must have the NATIONAL DEX. Which means you beat the pokemon league with 60 different pokemon caught on your POKEDEX. Then you must have defeated TEAM ROCKET on FIVE ISLAND, and given CELIO the RUBY and SAPHIRE. Once in the cave go up till you hit water. SURF left and down until you hit land. Go left and up the stairs. Keep on that path and until you can go down some stairs and up a ladder. Then go down the next ladder. Follow the path right and down until you can go back up some stairs go down that path until you reach water. SURF across to the small platform. NOTE: You can only catch MEWTWO with an ULTRABALL if he is asleep. ------------ 3. ARTICUNO ------------ ARTICUNO is one of the three legendary birds, the ice bird. He lies within the SEAFORM ISLANDS, and you have to do a little problem solving to find him. You will see rocks that you can push scattered around the cave. You will also see holes aswell. Your job is push the boulders into the holes, until you can't push them anymore. When you push all the boulders down correctly, SURF as far left as you can until you see a small platform. INTERESTING FACT: ARTICUNO is the first legendary bird. The ARTI- is short for artic. And the UNO- is spanish for one. ---------- 4. ZAPDOS ---------- ZAPDOS is the one of the three legendary birds, the thunder bird. He lies within the POWERPLANT. You will need SURF to reach that. Once inside it's a striaght forward path to the back exit where is just sitting there waiting for you. INTERESTING FACT: ZAPDOS is the second legendary bird. The ZAP- is obviously electric. And the DOS- is spanish for two. ----------- 5. MOLTRES ----------- MOLTRES is one of the three legendary birds, the fire bird. He lies ontop of MT.EMBER on ONE ISLAND. You will need SURF and STRENGTH to reach him. When you get to ONE ISLAND SURF left and up until you reach land. Go up past that until you reach the other side of that tiny island and meet the sea again. SURF up until you reach land once again. Go as fare left and then up into MT. EMBER. Go through that, and solve the most simplist puzzle you can solve and go up some. INTERESTING FACT: MOLTRES is the third legendary bird. The MOL-means fire. And the TRES- is spanish for three. --------- 6. LUGIA --------- LUGIA is unfortunatly only obtainable through a cheat device to get to NAVEL ROCK. INTERESTING FACT: TOGEPI actually evolves into LUGIA, the games unfotunatly doesn't allow it. --------- 7. HO-OH --------- HO-OH is also only obtainable through a cheat device to get to NAVEL ROCK. ----------- 8. SUICUNE ----------- SUICUNE is one of the three legendary beasts, the ice dog. The only way to get him is if you have the NATIONALDEX and chose CHARMANDER as your starting POKEMON. You can find him wild in the KANTO REGION. --------- 9. ENTEI --------- ENTEI is one of the three legendary beasts, the fire lion. The only way to get him is if you have the NATIONALDEX and chose BULBASAUR as your starting POKEMON. You can find him wild in the KANTO REGION. ----------- 10. RIAKOU ----------- RIAKOU is one of the three legendary beasts, the thunder tiger. The only way to get him is if you have the NATIONALDEX and chose SQUIRTLE as your starting POKEMON. You can find him wild in the KANTO REGION. ----------- 11. CELEBI ----------- CELEBI is the hardest POKEMON to find. He is the TIME-RULING POKEMON. The only way to get him is by a cheat device. ----------- 12. DEOXYS ----------- DEOXYS is now supossedly the most powerful POKEMON ever. He is only obtainable through a cheat device to get to BIRTH ISLAND. ------------ 13. JIARCHI ------------ JIARCHI is the WISH MAKING POKEMON. SWEET! Ok first off he is only obtainable through a cheat device or trade from EMERALD. ------------- 14. GROUNDON ------------- GROUNDON is this magma dragon dinosaur thing, thats flippin awsome. He is only obtainable through trade between R/S/E. ----------- 15. KYOGRE ----------- KYOGRE is this sea turtle-ish whale thing that can kick GROUNDON"s butt. He is only obtainable through trade between R/S/E. ------------ 16. RAQUAZA ------------ RAQUAZA in the L.P.A's opion is the strongest POKEMON ever. He is only obtainable through trade between R/S/E. -------------- 17. REGISTEEL -------------- REGISTEEL is one of the three REGI's, the steel regi. He is only obtainable through trade between R/S/E. ------------- 18. REGIROCK ------------- REGIROCK is one of the three REGI's, the rock regi. He is only obtainable through trade between R/S/E. ------------ 19. REGIICE ------------ REGIICE is one of the three REGI's, the ice regi. He is only obtainable through trade between R/S/E. ----------- 20. LATIOS ----------- LATIOS is this cute little red dragon guy who's pretty cool. He is only obtainable through trade between R/S/E. ----------- 21. LATIAS ----------- LATIAS is this serious bluee dragon guy who's also pretty cool. He is only obtainable through trade between R/S/E. ----------- 22. TOGEPI ----------- TOGEPI evolves by happiness into TOGETIC who looks like a very small baby LUGIA. First you must go to FIVE ISLAND. Then SURF up and left as far as you can. You should be able to find a very small island with an old guy, talk to him and he will give TOGEPI who will hatch out of his egg in about 2,000 steps or so. ---------- 23. UNOWN ---------- UNOWN are the most worthless POKEMON ever!(besides LV5 MAGIKARP)There are 28 of them and they are at LV25 in the RUIN CHAMBERS at the bottom of SEVEN ISLAND. But first on your way to the bottom of the earth you should see a small hidden cave entrance. Go inside it and solve the fairly simple puzzle. The go down to the bottom of the island where you will hit the sea SURF to any chamber to find UNOWN. NOTE: Each chamber as different UNOWNS in it.
