WHAT ARE THE REGIS? [regid]
 ----------------------------

Welcome! I hope you enjoy this walkthrough. This walkthrough was created specifically
for getting the regis. First of all, I want to know how the people at Nintendo
want you to get the regis in Emerald/Sapphire/Ruby without using a walkthrough.
Unless you can see and read braille (language for the blind), you would not normally
be able to unlock the regis without extra-terrestrial abilities. Great then! Let's get started!

The regis are three sets of awesome pokemon found in Pokemon Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby.
To unlock the regis, you have to complete a series of events, without the aid of a
walkthrough, these events would be near-impossible to figure out. The regis are; Regirock,
Regice and Registeel. (See how they got their names?)

PS.If you have anything related to this walkthrough, send me an email:
extraemailaddress [at] gmail [dot] com. You will get credited in the THANKS section.

SECTION 2.1
UNLOCKING THE DOORS [utdor]
 ------------------------------

Okay, now that you know what are the regis, let me tell you
what we have to do to get them. Remember the three similar looking rocks
you past in the desert, right of Lavaridge Town, the one in the ocean,
near Petalburg City and the one a good bit off of Lilycove City? Perhaps
you remember, perhaps not. Well, there were ruin maniacs near all of them.
Well, if you do not remember, no need worrying. In due time, I'll tell
you how to get to each no need to worry yet. The one in the desert is
the Desert Ruins, home of Regirock, the one in the ocean is the Island Cave,
home of Regice and the one away from Lilycove is the Ancient Tomb, home of
Registeel.
Well, you may be wondering if you passed the rocks already, why you
didn't notice they were the homes of legendary Pokemon. Well, if it was that
simple, you wouldn't need a walk through, would you? Firstly, you must
complete a mission. Not-too-hard, not-too-easy mission. A mission of medium
difficulty. Ready? Let's go!

 ----------------------
SECTION 2.2
REQUIREMENTS [requt]
 ----------------------

To complete the mission and unlocking the homes of the Regis, you need certain requirements. These are;

1) Relicanth
2) Wailord
3) Dive
4) Surf
5) Rock Smash
6) Dig
7) Flash
8) Fly*

Update: Location of Dive, Surf, Rock Smash identified.

1) Relicanth is found only underwater outside Sootopolis City
2) Wailmer is found by fishing with a Super Rod on Route 129. You will get the Super
Rod from a sailor living near the Space Centre in Mossdeep. Surf and while surfing,
use the rod. You may not get a Wailmer on the first try but keep on trying. When you
get the Wailmer, evolve it. It evolves at Level 40. If it is already at Lv. 40 or over,
evolve it one more level and it will evolve.
3) Dive: HM#8, Steve's house, top-left corner of Mossdeep City.
4) Surf: HM#3, Wally's parent's, house next to your dad's Gym after you beat your dad.
5) Rock Smash: HM#6, house on the right side of Mauville as soon as you enter from the bottom of Mauville.
6) Dig. There is only one dig TM in the game. It is given to you by a girl in Route 114.
Just off Fallabor Town. She is next to a cave inside her house. She says that her brother
is the Fossil Maniac and she gives you the TM Dig. Dig, unlike, Dive, Surf, Rock Smash,
Flash and Fly, is a TM. Dig can only be used once, while the others can be used as much
as you want. WAIT! You can still get dig elsewhere; Trapinch learns Dig at level 41 and
Nincada at level 45. Or trade a Diglett from Diglett's Cave from FireRed/LeafGreen.
7) Flash is not optional. You MUST have it to unlock Registeel. Without it, you can still
unlock the other two, but, you need it to unlock Registeel.
8) Fly is optional. But, without it you would have to swim to everywhere you want to go.
It is highly recommended. HM 02(Fly): Found in the town with the sixth Gym.

Relicanth? Check!
Wailord? Check!
Dive? Check!
Surf? Check!
Rock Smash? Check!
Dig? Check!
Flash? Check!
Fly? Check!

Okay, bring it on!

 ------------------------
Section 2.3
READY, SET, GO! [rsgos]
 ------------------------

REMEMBER: if ever you mess up, fly back to Pacilog Town and try again.

First, fly to Pacifilog Town, Surf west, go NEAR the currents but NOT in them,
yet. What we're trying to do is to stay as low as possible to the currents. Go to the
lowest point, and start surfing. If done correctly, you will now be facing a fisherman.
If not previously done, he will challange you to a battle. Defeat him and walk down, to
the lowest point and surf. If done correctly, you will be facing a pair of swimmers.
Go past them and touch the very lowest part of the current. You will land on a
shallow part of water. From here, go to the lowest part and go again. From here, you
will be taken to a shallow part of water. This is cool; part is on Route 133, part is
on Route 134. Once here, walk to the left as much as possible (without leaving the shallow
water) and then walk down as much as possible. You will now be at the bottom-left-hand corner.
Take two steps forward, turn left and surf. If properly calculated, you will now be in
currents, the currents will then take you to a patch of still water where you can dive.
When you dive, go through the cave, you will still be underwater. Follow the path
and you will arrive at a rock engraved with braille. When translated, the braille reads;
GO UP HERE. Be on this exact spot and surface. If done accordingly, you will now be in
the sealed Chamber. Owwwwwwwwww!
In here, you will find ten rocks all engraved with braille.
When translated, they are;

	ABC	DEF	.(FULL STOP, PERIOD)
	GHI	JKL	,(COMMA)
	MNO	PQRS
	TUV	WXYZ

See how good the Nintendo people are? Free braille lessons. To the back of the chamber,
the braille reads; DIG HERE. Use the Pokemon that has Dig and Dig there. A path to another
room will open up. In this room, there are six stones, they read;

1) IN THIS CAVE WE HAVE LIVED.
2) WE OWE ALL TO POKEMON.
3) BUT, WE SEALED THE POKEMON AWAY.
4) WE FEARED IT.
5) THOSE WITH COURAGE, THOSE WITH HOPE.
6) OPEN A DOOR. AN ETERNAL POKEMON AWAITS.

Go to the back of the room. More braille. It reads; FIRST COMES WAILORD, LAST COMES
RELICANTH. Put Wailord first in your party, and put Relicanth last. Well, that's it. If
you've done as said, the doors would have opened. Well, time to see.

Update: Read the braille after putting Wailord first and Relicanth last, otherwise the doors will
not open!

Exit the cave.

 ---------------------------
Section 3.1
BATTLE STRATEGIES [btstr]
 ---------------------------

Balls: Use Ultraballs, Greatballs
Pack a lot, at least 25 for each Regi.

Pokemon Team:
Use a strong team,as strong as possible.
Successful Pokemon Team:

Blazekin lv.68 skyuppercut, mirrormove, rocksmash & strenght
Wailord lv.46 surf, dive waterspout & waterfall
Sceptile lv.67 leafblade, false swipe, cut & flash
Groudon lv.70 solarbeam, fissure, dig, fireblast
Raquaza lv.70 fly, rest, extremspeed & outrage
Relicanth lv.33 take down, yawn, watergun & rocktomb

Note: Six pokemon are optional but Useful in the event that the others faint.

Regirock:
Blazekin: Rock Smash, Strength, Strength. Regirock will now be on red health.
Use Relicanth with Yawn to put Regirock to sleep.

Registeel:
Blazekin: Rock Smash. Highly effective. Registeel will now be on red health,
although a critical hit will make it faint. Again,
use yawn to put Registeel to sleep.

Regice:
Sceptile: Leaf Blade a couple of times, followed by Relicanth's Yawn.

REGIROCK

Update: SAVE BEFORE WAKING UP REGIROCK!!

Fly to Lavaridge Town, go west (right) until you meet the desert. Go in. To the bottom
of the desert, you will see a rock with an opening. go in. What? It's empty? HOW DARE YOU!
Okay, okay, relax. Go to the back of the cave and read the braille. Okay, from the braille,
walk exactly like this; LEFT, LEFT, DOWN, DOWN, THEN USE ROCK SMASH. If you've done it correctly,
a new opening will be revealed at the back of the cave. Go in. Save. Walk up to the Rock and
press 'A'. Battle. Capture. Do not use your Masterball. Do not kill it because you will
certainly regret that.

Update: If LEFT, LEFT, DOWN, DOWN, THEN USE ROCK SMASH does not work, go right, right, down, down,
and then you use strength.

REGICE
________________

Update: SAVE BEFORE WAKING UP REGICE!!

Fly to Petalburg City. GO west of the city and use surf. Stay to the left and you
will come to some trees. LAnd go around the trees, continue going down and you will find
the cave. The braille at the back reads: STAY CLOSE TO THE WALL. RUN AROUND ONE LAP. Okay,
so, in any direction, wall around the cave without leaving the wall. If done correctly, the
opening will be revealed. Go in. Save. Walk up to the Rock and press 'A'. Battle. Capture.
Do not use your Masterball. Do not kill it because you will certainly regret that.

________________
REGISTEEL
________________

Update: SAVE BEFORE WAKING UP REGISTEEL!!

Here is where you need Flash. Fly to Lilycove. Go to the west. COntinue going west
for a longish while until you can no longer go. Go up the stairs, through the really tall
grass, up the stairs again. Guess what? Go to the back of the room. The braille reads:
THOSE WHO INHERIT OUR WILL, SHINE IN THE MIDDLE. Walk four steps back and use flash. Guess
what? The opening is revealed! Go in. Save. Walk up to the Rock and press 'A'. Battle.
Capture. Do not use your Masterball. Do not kill it because you will certainly regret that.

----------------------
SECTION 4.1
CHEAT CODES [grdfg]
 ---------------------

It is recommended that you avoid using cheat codes as much as possible to enjoy the game
as fully as possible.

These codes have not been verified. Use at your own risk.

You can use the master balls to catch the regis all you have to do is multiply them.
It might take a while but, it is worth while. The cheat is to multiply pokemon with items.
Fly to the battle frontier and go to the battle tower. Then go to the pc in the top right
corner of the building. Deposite the pokemon holding the master ball in box 9 (make sure
box 9 is empty). save the game and withdraw the pokemon. when you withdraw it don't save
and go to the the closest lady near you. Talk to her and when she says to save the game
there will be a short pause then you should press a,b,start, and select at the same time.
Continue the game and take the master ball from the pokemon. then go into the pc and
withdraw the pokemon in box 9 and take the master ball. do this 3 times and you will have
4 masterballs.

If you have cheat codes (that actually work), please refer to the THANKS section. You can
send gameshark, codebreaker, action replay, codes, hints, glitches, anything related to
this regiwalkthrough. You will get credited in the THANKS section.
