Question for Yu-Gi-Oh The Eternal Duelist Soul

Hey guys I am a little confused how is it that you can get dark magician girl after beating simon but you can't use the password to get her please help!!!!!!!!!

There's a special tournement in November. Beat everyone and Simon will be unlocked. Beat him and Yugi's grandpa Trusdale will be unlocked. BTW tournement will get harder every round. Hope that helps.
