When you get to the 6th set of people how do you get to duel the unknown.

There is no 6th tier there are just 5.Tier 5 consists of Duel CPU,Maximillion Pegasus,Trusdale and Simon Murian.I only know how to get Pegasus.You need to have a Toon World.
There are three others you can duel,but I only know how to get one of them.The three are Pegasus,Simon and Trusdale.To get Pegasus,you need to have a toon world card.
to get pegasus, you have to have unlocked a toon world card. to get simon you have to win in the big november tournament. to unlock truesdale (and every card in the game) you have to beat simon once.
