You need the following:
1. A Gamecube
2. A Gameboy advance
3. A GBA Link cable
4. TSBO for both GC and GBA.
Steps:
Start up TSBO on GC. Simply start playing.
Start up TSBO on GBA and head to the simvally library. Use the library computer and "Establish GCN link".
Plug your GBA into your GC via the GBA link cable.
You will now unlock exclusive features in both games.
