Question for The Sims Bustin Out

Early on in the game, I found the rocket ship and repaired it. Throughout the whole game, I left the rocket in my pocket, and when I started living in the mansion, I put it in my living room because I didn't know what to do with it.

So I finally stumbled upon the launch pad in the back yard of the mansion and placed the rocket on there. BUT when I click on the GOALS files, it tells me that I still have not repaired the rocket?

All the other missions are complete: make 13 friends, get 3 promotions (mad scientist or Cliff diver), and move rocket to mansion. There is no "x" indicating I've repaired the rocket. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE! And my uncle's gone. Whew.
