Question for The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

Okay... I have but 2 questions...

1-You know the shiny squares on the ground you use to multiply yourself with the four sword? Sometimes, I see a spot with just 2 or 3 squares. Can you multiply yourself with just 2 or 3? If you can please tell me how.

2-When you go to mount crenel's base, you see the place where you can use a bomb to get in. You use your sheild to deflect the rock back at the plant-thing and then he tells you that his friend in Tribly Highlands has an item to get a start up the mountain. Is his friend in the cave across the river with no land in front of it? If it is ,tell me how to get over and into it. If it isnt, tell me where it is and how to get in. Please answer soon Thanks

In answer to question 2, he's talking about the cave with another "plant-thing", just outside of hyrule town, to the left of your house. He sells you a jar to collect water and spring water in, if I remember corectly.

I know that all the other answers to your 2nd question suck, but there is finally one that doesn't! MINE!!! Here you go! (It is NOT "that" hole. You need the Mole Mitts for that one) First of all, you need 200 rupees, bombs, and a good short term memory, because this is rather lengthy. When you are in Hyrule town, go to the place where there is a guard standing by an entrance to "somwhere" (that we know to be the Trilby Hihglands) and the post office above. Enter the Trilby Highlands. As soon as you enter, you will see one of those fox things. You can either kill it, or avoid it (I don't care which), but be sure to not let it hit you, of you will lose money. Go south. Here you will see a ladder. Go down it. You will enter a little cave, where you will see the shiny squares. Ignore them. Go East (right) to the wall, where you will see one section cracked. Use bombs ( if you don't have bombs, you're screwed) and you will enter another little cave, with one of those little shrub things. Reflect it's seeds back at it, and pay 200 rupees for a bottle. Fill it with water. Go to Mount Crenel's base, and Voila!!! Water the sprout, and you can proceed. If there is anythhing at all unclear, please feel free to yell at me, usind profane language (swears) if needed. Ah, but I have forgotten! I would suggest going to the "T" section on this site, and looking up "The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap" to find GREAT guides through the rest of the game. But you didn't hear it from me ;)
Ta-ta!
