Question for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

OK... I'm stuck in the part were you were fighting that magician at the castle in the light world and then were you got sucked in into the dark world and know i dont know were to go and sometimes I get killed by the monsters, the only thing that is keeping me alive is my magical mirror.....can someone tell me what to do........(I checked my map and I have to go to some temple to get the 1st crystal)

Go east from the Golden Pyramid, towards the Palace. When you get to the huge bushes, go under them. There are little holes in the top that mark your path. Eventually you will meet Kiki the monkey. Pay him to follow you. If you get hit, he will run away and you will have to pay him again. When you reach the Palace, give him 100 Rupees, and he will open the door for you.

From the pyramid go to were the elders house is there will be a monkey pay him 20 rupees and he will follow you go to the east palace and he will tell you to pay him 100 rupees to open the locked door for you
