Go into the little swamp area just south of your house...(it is easier to start in the dark world)...then stand outside the little temple looking thing thats in the southwest corner...Go into the light world via the mirror and drain the water (if you didn't get the heart container just outside now would be a good time)...after draining the water go back into the dark world and go inside the temple and you are in!
