What is the question mark on the subscreen, and how do I get the guy to sell me the golden bee?

The question mark is:
A)Where the map, compass, and big key are stored in dungeons,
And b) Where the basket is stored for the riddle quest.

1) sorry I have no clue what the question mark is, I'm still trying to figure that out
2) to get the guy to sell you the golden bee, you have to go to the cave on the east of lake hylia, and ram that fairy statue with your pegasus boots and catch the golden bee that will come out. When the guy sees that you have the golden bee, he will sell you as many as you want.
