Question for Tales of Phantasia

Hello,

I got the son of the presedent(of the trading company) of venezia city (habour) with the girl, but were is he now?! I think I need him to take a ship to those darven mines...

Who can help me with this or finding the guy who distroyed that village (this is all in the past)

Ok once you talk to Elwin ( when hes hiding near th fontain ) he gose off and you don't see him until you get to the future.
