Use Undine on it when it reappears... If you are playing as the boy, and having trouble aiming your magic, Use the Knucks because if you hold down the button to cast magic, and keep it held down as you use the directional keypad to make the magic go where you want.
If your magic isn't strong enough, equip a jewellery item that will increase your magic power. But make it a high level one.
If you have the brownie ring, wear that, definitely! For info on how to ge tthe brownie ring, check a walkthrough (it's a bit long winded)
