Question for Sword of Mana

Okay, I'm in Jadd and I haven't played the game for a long time and I dont know what to do..

Can someone help me figure out what to do ????

If you are the girl, you go to the west and enter the manor. If there is a girl in the second screen, talk to her and she will progress the story. If not, go to the third screen and the same woman should be there, but in front of a door to a 'dungeon,' which should then be conquered.

If talking to the woman does nothing, check to see if you have Jinn, the wind spirit. If you don't, go south from the village, into the desert. If you do, you are either done with Jadd, or have gotten to a place I have not yet (I have not played in a long time and just got through with that part).

P.S.
I'm sorry, but if you are the Hero, I have no idea; I was always partial to the girl, and upon unearthing this game, replayed as her first.
