Question for Sword of Mana

I am in the abandoned mine and I can't seem to get past the first time you ride the mine cart. Can someone help me get past this problem?

In the first mine cart you need to position yourself in a way that you can hit the levers that change the railing so that you can progress to the next lever. I think there are 2 or 3 levers you need to hit and it will take you to the end of the rail. Then you jump off and run down on the screen. On your left there will be a door, it is sort of hidden with the wall so make sure if you can't find it to hug the right wall until you find it

do not kill 1000 monsters of the same type or you will face some black monsters which have 100 more stats except their health they will gain 500 more health
