Question for Pokemon Sapphire

How do you get across the white things that you can only use a bike on.For example there is one in safari zone.

You use the Acro Bike.

You have to use the slow bike. When using that bike you can hop using the B button.

You can only got until you get stuck. Then after that you can't.
