Question for Pokemon Sapphire

Im bored with leveling up for the elite four, but I still want to play. My party Pokemon are as the following:

1. Swellow-level 57
2. Kyoger-level 49
3. Blaziken- level 53
4. Azumaril- level 42

And that's all.

Well, for starters, thats an ok Pokemon party. But, it's not balanced enough. You'll need a good grass Pokemon, a psychic or dark Pokemon and a steel or rock or ground Pokemon in your team. You could get rid of Auzumaril or Kyoger to balance your team more. As for your levels, they're pretty good but I'd add another 2 Pokemon too your party, buy heaps of revives, Hyper potions and full heals and then just go for it.

Level up and add a grass type and a psychic type.

Your party is going to have some trouble.

Make sure your team knows these moves.

Swellow - Wing Attack, Quick Attack, Return and Hidden Power. Hopefully it's type is fighting. Wing Attack will help a bit with Sidney, same with Return. Quick Attack to finish off things that are about to Faint.

Kyogre - Calm Mind, Surf, Ice Beam, Thunder. This thing will sweep through with it's awesome special attack.

Blaziken - He varies. Blaze Kick, Brick Break, Swords Dance and Rock Slide (Move Tutor or breeding). This thing sweeps with monstrous attack.

Azumarill - Not worth mentioning because it sucks.

Level up to around 60. You'll be in so much trouble without a lot, and I mean A LOT of items.

kyogroudon answered:

Well I recommend replacing Azumarill with a good grass or ground type (maybe Rhydon would work) because it sucks. Then add a good psychic type (gardevoir, alakazam, etc.)or if you want, you could wait until you get a beldum from Steven then train it to become a Metagross (it's cool, trust me),then get an electric type Pokemon (Raichu would be my best choice).

Hate to break it to ya but ditch the azumaril get a good psychic Pokemon like go to dewford cave and find an Abra use great ball if it breaks out it will use Teleport and you will have to find another Abra so do that until you catch it then level it up until it evolves into Kadabra then lvl it up till like 33 and like never get rid of recover when it learns it!!!!! Then trade with someone who has like ruby or sappire for instance. It will evolve into Alakazam for them then trade back and lvl Alakazam to about 93 and it's probably ready to help you with the Elite four! And that will do the same thing for a geodude but when you find one in dewford cave use a weak Pokemon and catch it. Level it up till it evolves into graveler and keep leveling it up till 40 then trade and trade back.Congrats you have golem! Lvl it up till about 95...Its ready to help you beat the Elite four!!! Good luck! And this could probably help for any of you other people that are readng this too!

What I do is get a game cube game like colosseum or xd and also have a gc-gba link cable. Beat the gc game and trade the highest level to your sapphire

Guest answered:

Well, I think your team is pretty good... Personally, I usually beat the Elite with six Pokemon, lots of revives, and a litre of luck. My Pokemon are usually in the mid-range forties, so I think your levels are pretty good...
