Depends.

Go to serebii.net and go look at the Pokedex and see which Pokemon are compatible with the other.

It depends on which two Pokemon have the egg because you might have an egg from two Pokemon and a different Pokemon (usually a pre-evolved form) will hatch from it. There's many of different combination you can have.

The egg will hatch into a L:5 Pokemon that is the pre-evolutionary form of the female.

The only time an egg is not the same is when 2 jigglypuffs are in the daycare 2 pikachus in the daycare one holding a magnet and 2 marills one holding sea incense and of course one male and one female to get these

It will be the same as the female pokemon...and Pokemon will only have an egg if they are compatible.
