Question for Pokemon Sapphire

Okay, I've had Pokemon Sapphire for a while now. I've played it before, but recently decided to start a new game. Before I was using it on the Gameboy Advance, but now I am using it on Nintendo DS. My problem is that it doesn't change from night to day, and I'm not sure why. When I go back to my house, the clock is on the right time, but it is always daylight.

That's because daylight occurs all the time, it won't change to a darker screen because the time is 6 pm. Time base events still occur. Day time id between 00:00 and 12:00, night is between 12:00 and 00:00. I might be wrong but thats how I put it on a simple way

That is because on Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, the sun doesnt change it's position. Even though the time changes, the sun doesnt like in Crystal, Gold and Silver.

Hope I helped
