Question for Pokemon Sapphire

I have a vigoroth and I had it in the daycare ythen took him out and got him up a lvl .he started to evolve then my friend told me to stop him from evolving because slaking is bad so I stop him from evolving and now when ever he gets up a lvl he keeps starting to evolve

I don't know why you wouldnt want slaking but just make him hold an everstone then

I recommend you evolve him because your going to need slaking to finish your pokedex.You could always get another vigoroth and give him an everstone.

If you want to keep your Vigoroth then just push the B button each time he starts to evolve.

That's supposed to happen. Slaking, by the way, is good more for the Pok�dex than battle as its Truant ability stops it from moving every other turn, although its Attack stat is phenomenal.

This is a good point as slaking moves every 2 turns so basicallys sucks in battles. However to complete the pokedex you need him. Also he is one of the strongest monsters in the game so he is good to have.

You can make him hold the everstone so that he won't evolve forEVER. Or you can just press the B button everytime he's evolving.
I don't know why you don't want him though...
