How on earth do you get past those twin people gym leaders can you please tell me what level my pokémon have to be??

To beat the twins your pokemon have to be 50-55+.
Use Registeel, Beldum, Metang, Metagross, Baltoy, Claydoll, Magnemite, Magneton, Aron, Lairon, Aggron, or Mawile.
Around level 40. Both their pokemon are rock/psychic so bring a water/dark of roughly an equal level.
Following on from 'iamapokemaniac' if you go right out of Mauville, on the water or if you use a fishing rod, you should come across Carvanha which is Water/Dark and it evolves into Sharpedo which is Water/Dark. So an ideal team would be Azumarill and Mightyena. And your water pokemon should know surf which is a never miss, high power attack which attacks both Solrock and Lunatone.
