Question for Pokemon Sapphire

I read my the anwsers to the question about the eon ticket that I put up and cross stinger said that you could either get an eon ticket by using an e reader or do a mystery event thingy and get it from Norman.

So now I'm asking you guys, what is a mystery event and how do you do it?

Also, I was curious to know what trading records (or something like that) might do so my cousin and I trade records and now whenever the TV (in the game) is on it always talk about my cousin because my cousin named his charcter Ash and mine was name Hero. For example when its time for the name ratter show the TV will say something like "Ash has name his Speptile with even a better name and the new name of his Speptile is Blade" when it should be saying "Hero has name his Speptile with even a better name and the new name of his Speptile is Blade"

Someone please help me I'm desperate for the eon ticket.

Cross Stinger made a mistake for ONCE!Woah,that's sad! The mystery event is how you get the eon ticket by using the e-reader.........Not only does mixing records show your friend on TV. But it also allows you to find your friend's secret base and battle him inside his secret base!

1. After defeating five Gyms, go to the Pokémon Center and talk to the guy near the PC. Give him the profile MYSTERY EVENT IS EXCITING. When you start your game thereon, you will see the option Mystery Events.

2. Mixing records allows you and your partner(s) to enter each other's Secret Base and battle once a day. They will also broadcast their stuff on your television while they're seing your stuff on their TVs. The Dewford Hall tagline random selection will be made to include any of theirs.
