The scorched slab has a TM17 inside.

I've been trying to figure that out too.

I think you can use sweet scent to find pokemon but, I don't know which pokemon.

I deleated Tropius's sweet scent by accident before I couid do this so I don't know if it will work.

You can obtain the jhoto starters in there once you beat the elite four, you need to have kyogre groudon rayquaza and the three regis in your party and use fly with rayquaza as soon as you get in, you can only choose one then the other two disappear, good luck!
