Question for Pokemon Sapphire

I just started playing the game and I am just confused about some of the cheats mentioned here, such as surfing on water, talking to someone and more..... I only have 2 badges and still working on more.

Please advise, am I missing something?

Surfing on water isnt a cheat it I part of the game you can surf and get too islands after you get the HMsurf later in te game

The only way you can surf on water is hm3 you get that after you beat the fifth gym leader
Wallys parents give it to you, oh yeah I forgot the third gym is electric weakness ground,forth gym fire weakness water, ground, rock,fifth gym all normal Pokemon
Weakness fighting just use your blaziken have a nice summer good bye :] game name/pokemon sapphire/platform/gameboy advanced/

One of many masters is right, those are not cheats, but ingame abilities. READ the manuel, it will explain how to surf, how to talk to people and more.

READ THE MANUAL!!! Honestly! What do you think the A button is for on your Gameboy? And surfing on water is CERTAINLY NOT EVER IN THE ANCIENT HISTORY OF A MEGA FAST MUDKIP A CHEAT!!! You get HM Surf in the game. But if you've already got 2 badges, you must be able to talk to people! See? I'm bright! I can suss things out...
