Question for Pokemon Sapphire

Hello this used to be Naythan but it isn't now!!
Here are a few questions to be answered...

1)Is it normal to have a female starter pokemon because I started a new game and my Treeko was a female but now I've gone over that save!!!

2)I went to Pacifidlog Town and the man said that he saw Mirage Island so I went there and Mirage Island wasn't there!! Is this a glitch?

3)If someone has LeafGreen can u tell me when I want to get my Aurora Ticket it says WONDER GARDS and WONDER NEWS why doesn't it say WONDER GIFTS?

1. you can get female starters but only on rare occasions, my maganium was female from gold.
2. I dont know what happened, you might not have gone the right way.
3. I don't know

Dude I hope you didn't go over your good game for that treeko. It's a 13% chance of having one of the starters being a girl. So just save before going into the professors bag and start over if its a boy. About mirage island im not sure but I've heard its good to have a bunch of id numbers for the chances of it appearing. Mirage Island is no big deal anyway all thats there is Wynauts and we all know how useless they are. To get wonder cards and such I think there has to be a nitendo event which is very rare. An event is like 3 years ago random six flags parks were giving out mews.
