What is the use of blue shard,red shard,green shard that we can find on the seafloor cavern??

If you give the Shards to a man near Mossdeep City, he will give you an Evolution Stone in return. Red Shards give you Fire Stones, Blue Shards give you Water Stones, Yellow Shards give you Thunder Stones, and Green Shards give you Leaf Stones.

You take them to the house that is to the west of Mossdeep City. He will give you a evelution stone depending on the shard.
