My Pokemon Sapphire game says that the internal battery has run dry and clock based events won't happen anymore. Do I just play through and live with it or is there some way I can fix this?

Sorry, but the only real way to fix it is to buy a new copy of Sapphire. Happened to me once, and short of tearing the little game cartrage apart and doing more damage to it than good, there is no way to give it some little quick fix.
Well the same happens to me but I just use the game now for getting Pokemon off of thats it, it does come in handy
My game says the same thing but I just continue playing anyway and it seems to be fine
