Question for Pokemon Sapphire

My Trapinch didn't learn dig and I evolved it and now I'm training my Nincada. Will it evolve on the way to level 41? If it does should I let it? And will it learn dig if I do?

Does a Pokemon get a second chance to evolve ?

Thanks

1. Train your Trapinch to like, lvl 40 or so to get it to learn Dig, or so the rumor has been. I think it's lvl 41.

2. Don't evolve your Trapinch on the way to lvl 41 or it will not learn Dig.

3. If you choose not to let your Pokemon evolve now, then you can always level it up for another chance to evolve it. However, if it has two evolutions, and you decide to wait until the level when it would evolve a second time while it is still on it's first form, then it will not evolve.
