When on the abandoned ship the cheat book says that tou can get onto the lower decks through the holes - I can't! Also in room 3, using the itemfinder it says in the top right hand corner that something is right under your feet? How do you pick it up, I have tried everything!! Please help, my son is losing his sanity.

To pick stuff up use A. To find it press A on every square in the room.
Frstly for the abandoned ship you need dive(HM). And in room 3 you have to stand next to the item, not on it!
Your book is wrong. You Get there by using a dive point in one of the rooms. Move one space in one direction, turn around and press A where you were standing.
You move off the spot you were on then face it and press A!
Now was that so hard!?
