Latias and Mirage Island

Hey. If you don't already know I am trying to find Latias and I was sort of thinking of the best way to find her. I was thinking if I looked in Route 116 because there is no water to look in. I use a Max Repel and look in all the grass and I was wondering if that was a good idea or not. I think it is but any way. And also, I want to go to Mirage Island. I've heard about you have to have the right numbers from the Pokemon but some people are saying it is the Pokemon's ID number and others are saying it is their actual number on the PokeDex. I just want to know which one is it. Thanks. Jaydo_23

There is actuall a common point for latis and latios it is around the center town on the map if you go there and use your pokedex andfind it then leave to the closest area then check pokedex then if no there go back to town and check pokedex that is how I got them(i also used a sableye and a dustox to lock them in battle[use 1 of those because latios and latias's attacks wont effect them you must teach them scary face and up there speed as much as possable so that you can use the attack lock it in battle and weaken them slowly then use pokeballs for a while.)i know I gave extra info but this sjhould also help you catch it bacause there is no point if you find it but can't catch it.

Good theory, but Latias and Latios come around by just pure chance. Sorry, look mainly in tall grass around the rainy regions(I found them there about a dozen times) However, I'm sure that it's different for everyone.

Use the Master Ball on Latias/Latios. The best place to locate them is around Mauville or Mossdeep/Pacifidlog.

Ok I would suggest:
1:if you have seen it but you don't own a wobuffet just run from battle.
2:now you have the data where latias is walking.
3:get a wobuffet in the saffari zone and take alot of hyper potions
4:check the pokedex and click latios's data and then click area it will show you where is latias flying
5:now fly on the area near to latias and then don't use a bike just walk(sometimes wont work) and then check again the pokedex for the area if it is there use a max repel and just walk around till you found her and have wobuffet at your party
