Question for Pokemon Sapphire

Hi i have two questions :
what are the stone monuments..that fossil finders say might be ancient. ?

What is the point in them ? I have found a couple and it is one big stone with five little ones around it ...

Congratulations (I hate this voice)! You know where Regirock, Regice, and Registeel are. Now all you have to do is gain access. Get a Relicanth and Wailord — Relicanth is found in the seaweed under Routes 124 or 126, and Wailord can be hooked on Route 129 and evolve from Wailmer at level 40 — and put Relicanth in as the leader of your party and put Wailord in last position.

Then, go to Pacifidlog Town and Surf west. Keep to the bottom of the screen, as far aso you can go, until you hit Route 134, when the current will dump you on an empty sandbar. Go straight and you will end up on a dive spot. Use Dive and continue underwater until you see a mound with a Braille inscription on it. Resurface in front of the inscription and you'll be in the Sealed Chamber.

Go to the back of the chamber and have a Pokémon use Dig in front of the inscription. An orifice should open, so you can go into the next chamber. Make sure Relicanth leads your party and Wailord is last in line, and read the inscription at back. A tremor should occur, and those monoliths should be open.

Regirock: Route 111. Go to the Desert and go south until you see a monolith with six rocks surrounding it. Go in and read the inscription. Then, walk two paces right and two paces down before using Strength.
The wall should open, and Regirock's in the next chamber. It's at level 40.

Regice: Go to Route 105 and Surf until you see a Ruin Maniac on the largest sandbar. Go up the path to the left of the sandbar and you'll find a monolith. Go in, read the inscription, and then just hang on for two minutes. Do absolutely nothing on the game. After that, the wall should open, and Regice awaits. It's also at level 40.

Registeel: Go to Route 120 and stay south. Find Bug Maniac Brandon and then go to the lady below him. Then, head west. You should see some steps to the pond and a Ninja Boy camouflage cloak. Go through the grass and you should find another monolith. Go i8n and use Fly in the centre of the room.
