Question for Pokemon Ruby

How do you get to mirage island? Where/how do you see your pokemon's break stat (spelling?)

And Is it true that you get to go on a rocket ship if the guy in lilycove says a number 50 or higher?

The guy in my game takes a long time to go to the next number.

I'm only on...about 37. Please help!

Marage Island apears at random, and there is no such thing as break stat points (well, if there is, there is no way to find out what it is).

For the rocket ship thing, I don't thik so, and it's suposidly when it reaches a hundred (more bad news). But I promise to post if it's true when i find out.
PS- It is suposed to take a week to get to the next number.
