Pokerus is a condition which causes pokemon to gain exp. at an increased rate.

It only lasts for around 5 days, but depositing an infected pokemon causes the affliction to last as long as the creature is in the pc.

As far as I know, nobody is sure of how the beneficial malady is caught, but it spreads whenever an infected pokemon is in your party during a battle.

Finally, pokemon which have had pokerus but fought it off become immune to it.

Relicanth are found in seaweed across the ocean, but are the most common in the water surrounding Sootopolis City (note that they are still fairly rare).

The pokeruss makes your pokemon gain more experiance than normally.
I'm not sure how you get it, but it's a good thing. I got right after I taided My Groudon and Kyogre. Ialso traided Latios and Latias (I traided right back for both). I'm starting to thin that you can get it by traiding the legiondaries. I'm not sure though.
