How do you get water Pokemon or fishing rod?

Water Pokemon can be found by surfing, fishing and some in grass like wingull and marill

Old rod: dewford town-near where you first go into the town
Great rod: just to the right of mauville city, there is one of the people that is on the other side of the water, facing mauville, that will give it to you
Super rod: On mossdeep city, to the left of the space centre in a house by itself, a man in there will give it to you

Fishing Rod - There are three, which one do you want, Old, Good or Super Rod?

There is a fishing rod in mossdeep city the super rod,and the good rod you get it after you beat norman get surf,surf to the other side by going east of mauville after you got a rod fish fish fish

By surfing the internet..... Hehehhe no by surfing the water you can find a marill, magicarp, tentacool or tentacruel, feebas, wingull yeah there are weak but when they evolve they will become strong like magicarp into gyarados.....


There are three Fishing Rods Old rod, Good Rod and the Super Rod but I recommend Super Rod because it is super (Duh!) it can catch rare pokemons like sharpedo, corsola, and wailmer

I NEED A BETTER ANSWER!!! i need a WATER pokemon because i CANT surf

If you have a Pokemon with sweet scent you can go into a grass area by water and use sweet scent and it will bring a water type Pokemon.

Theres a guy in dewford and he will give you a old rod and then you have to go to mauville and surf to the right then there is a man and he will give you a good rod after that go to mossedeep and go to the left of the space center thing and there is a man and he will give you a super rod

If you can't surf yet, catch a zigzagoon(which can learn surf)and surf until you can get a water Pokemon, then teach that Pokemon surf and store zigzagoon

Use Surf/Dive to catch Water Pokemon Above/Below Water.

I forget where to get the old rod and don't know where is the Super Rod, But the Good rod is at Mossdeep City ( to get there, you need to go up a stade, then go left and then up. You will see a house there, go in that house and talk to the man inside. )
