Question for Pokemon Ruby

Ok, two questions (or more I'm doing this as I type). #1) I want shiny Pokemon, is there a quicker way for get'n them then just walk'n around, that bores me to tears.

#2) what are nintendo events and were do they happen, this bugs me too much!.

##) sorry told ya I may have more, anyway I need rarecandeis with out AR or GS for level ups! I can't find locations for them!

Im lost. Plz answer!!!

1.Yeah using an AR or GS,other than that no.

2.Nintendo events happan outside of the game,you need to attend an event to get Pokemon that you wouldn't be able to get or items,rare things.

3.I'am not quite sure where to find them,have a zizagoon that has the pickup ability,hit will pickup an item after battles there might be a chance it will have a rarecandie.

1) No.
2) They happen randomly around the world. Good luck finding them because they're currently only in Japan for Pok�mon Diamond and Pearl.
3) Routes 106, 110, 114, 119, 120, 123, and 132 / Trick House; Pass through the First Maze. That's it.
