Question for Pokemon Ruby

I'll make this one short. Whenever I trade to trade poekmon from my ruby (and sapphire) it just stays at the, please wait: b button cancel (yes, I leave it for a while but it still won't go forward). Why is this? I'm sure I am trading with the right games, it just won't go into the trade room. Does anyone know why? And, yes, I am using the link cable. I know I'm doing everything correctly, I just don't know why it won't work. Any suggestions?

You must be doing something wrong becasue if the games are connected properly between Ruby and Sapphire, then you should be able to get in. Otherwise, the best we can tell you is that it's a glitch.

If your trying to trade from LF/FR to ruby...you must do some certien things first in LF/FR like fixing the trading machine and stuff and beat the elite 4 and obtain the national dex....As for Ruby just beat the E4 and get the NDex

cgcookiegirl answered:

Make sure the link cable is plugged in all the way...the same problem happened to me.

RayquazaSpawn answered:

You need the gameboy advance link cable, but I know most people who link cables have the GBA link cable, so if you have the GBA link cable and everything is done correctly and it is still not working, your link cable probably broken and you'll need to get yourself a new one. Same thing happened to me.
