1) You should have a pokemon who knows false swipe so you won't accidently ko it. Also a pokemon that can put it to sleep will help.

2) I used a master ball

Your team should do modestly well. I generally train the lati I caught in the corresponding game up untill it is at least level 75 and has the moves recover and ice beam (the other moves are not exceedingly important) along with a high level pokemon which knows a move such as thunder wave which is guarenteed to paralyze (magneton is a good choice since it is part steel). After paralyzing it, I weaken it and once it is in the red use ultra balls untill it is captured, retrying if it uses rest. If you want to try this I can attest that this works suprisingly well on most legendarys, but bear in mind that you should still bring along healing items in case your creatures take unexpected damage (such as a critical hit from an outrage attack).

Skilled Dark Magician answered:

I really think it's a great team but I'd train Golduck and Skymory a little more and get rid of Ember for Blaziken and put Strength. One more thing make sure you have lots of Ultra Balls and Revives to restore your Poke'mon if they faint.

bentry answered:

I used the weakest attacks I had. Rayquaza has low defense so don't use a master ball! I got it to half HP then confused it and caught it with a pokeball! Be calm its not that hard!!!!!!

Aeon-Flux answered:

You can use a Master Ball or something like a Ultra Ball. Although that would make it much harder.
