Question for Pokemon Ruby

I have a problem with fishing. Whenever I try to fish it either says, "Not even a nibble" or "Oh! A bite! It got away" This happens to me everytime. What do I do?

I hate double posting stop doing it. Well your problem is you don't press the A button when it sais OH A BITE! So try doing that.

When it says ''oh! A bite!'' press ''a''. you'll have 60/40 of chance of getting a water pokemon hooked.

When it says not even a nibble go to a different spot and fish.When it says oh!
A bite!press A if it dosent say A Pokemon on the hook it will keep doing and wait.

When the thing says "Oh! A Bite!" Press A, and wait until it says it again and press A, until the words "A Pokemon is on the hook!" appears, and press A again to fight the hooked Pokemon.

You need to tap A when it says ...... Oh! A bite!.
