Question for Pokemon Ruby

This is a question that I might want to put on Emerald, but, I';m sure some of you know.
What different Pokemon can you catch on Emerald?
What are the different places, like islands and stuff.

There is no diffrence,the Pokemon can learn the same moves and stuff like that,just in Emerald you can go to the battle frontier.

Well you can also catch Kanto and Jhoto Pokemon on Emerald after beating the elite four.
