I never heard of the scorched rock,maybe it is not real,so sorry if I don't know the answer.

There is no scorched rock, unless you mean SCORCHED LAB. Thats where you get sunny day. It is east of fortree city. Go to the first patch of grass you see. South of it there will be stairs leading to water. Use surf and go south, there will be a cave.
