Question for Pokemon Ruby

If anyone knows in Pokemon ruby version for gba I'd like to know where in the world can I get the move surf?

I deafeated the electric gym but the guy tells me to surf to a place but I don't know were to get the move surf ?

If anyone can help me pleas'and thank you.

Surf you get it after you beat your father in petalburg gym from the house on the left of the gym

You have to fight the 4th and 5th gym leaders[head north and follow the path to the 4th which is fire then go to your dad who is the 5th] Then go talk to wallies parents next door to the gym and talk to wallies dad

You have to defeat your father at Petalburg gym, then talk to Wally's parents.

You get surf at Willies house after you beat the 5th gym leader.

You have to defeat Norman (your dad). Once you beat him, he'll tell you that Wally's parents want to talk to you. Wally's mom will give you Surf.

You go and defeat the fourth gym leader flannery and then you travel to Petalburg. You go inside the house right beside you dad's gym(go ahead and defeat him) and Wally's dad will give you HM03 Surf. You have to have 5 gym badges. Roxanne, Brawley, Wattson, Flannery, Norman(your dad).

you get surf as soon as you beat your father ( Norman ) hes the fourth gym leader back at the gym where you helped wally catch ralts after you beat him hell say go next door to wallys parents house and there theyll give you surf HM 4 I believe
