My little brother has the game and has a problem...
It's used, but when my cousin traded him Latios from Emerald, the pokedex said that Latios' 'area' was unknown. WHAT SHOULD HE DO!!! He's blaming me!

It isn't your fault, it's just because you have him in your pokedex dosent mean he will apper again.
That's normal. After Latias is caught, or before you beat the Pok�mon League, it will show that status.
The Latios area is unknown until you beat the elite four (because you need to beat the game for him to appear).

Tell him to find another game to trade to and restart. Trade his Pokemon back over and then look for him if that dosen't work then he might have a virus.

It's not your fault. Latios's area will be unknown once you "catch" him.
