A eon ticket is a ticket that lets you go to a island.

It's a ticket that let's you go to Southern Island. It can be obtained by a Nintendo Event or cheat device.

The eon ticket was given out at nintendo events. It requires an e-reader to install it into a Pokemon game. This ticket allow one to take the ferry to Southern Island where either latios or latias resides. (this depends on which color you selected --blue or red earlier in the game) You must activate MYSTERY EVENTS before you can utilize this item.

You can obtain the eon ticket without the e-reader or an eon ticket. The owner of an eon ticket can mix records with others and this will transfer an eon ticket to the game that did not have one.

The only draw back is that the owner can only mix and share the ticket a limited number of times. (unless they restart a game and re-install the ticket again)
