Question for Pokemon Ruby

A quick confirmation please: Mirage Island and Southern Island, same or different?

Any hints on catching Feebas would be greatly appreciated please, I beg you!! I'm almost done with my pokedex, and THAT FISH is going to stop me from doing it. :>(

Hey!
I think they are the same thing. and for feebas, it is going to take a while for you to catch it. It took me about 3 hours. Sorry. Hope that helps.

Confirmation: Different. Southern Island is reachable through use of the Eon Ticket (see above question's answer for details), and you can acquire Latias (Ruby or Latios (Sapphire) there. Mirage Island, on the other hand, features a feral denomination of Wynaut and a field in which Liechi Berries are present.

As for your Feebas locations, I'll give you two for now:

WEAKENED DATE: Go to the Weather Institute and Surf down the upper part of the stream. Do not go up the waterfall! Surf down until the stream starts winding to the southwest. On the bank to your left, you will see a rendition made with two terrain corners. Go diagonal from the lower corner and fish downward with the Good Rod.

COLD MONEY: Go to the Weather Institute and Surf on the upper part of the stream (once again, avoid the waterfall). You will see a rendered corner on the bank on your left side as the stream winds to the south the first time. This corner is obscured by the foliage. Go into this corner until you are covered by the foliage and point upward and fish with the Good Rod.

Mirage Island and Southern Island are different: Mirage Island is full of Wynauts and Southen Island there are only Latios/Latias.

I got Feebas by using an Action Replay this device is a game enhancer if you are ever thinking of getting it it is only 19.99 or cheaper!

You can catch a Feebas along the edges of Dewford cave I believe. It may not happen on your first fishing try so it may take a while.
