Question for Pokemon Ruby

How do you battle with the sootopolis gym leader because when I went there the door was closed

You need to kick the Magmas or Aquas out of the Seafllor Cavern underwater on Route 128 and defeat Groudon or Kyogre in the Cave of Origin.

At last i entered in the sootopolis gym ,but i can't cross the ice way ...how can i battle with gym leader.....????

The door is locked until you have beaten/captured Groudon. He is in the cave of Origin which is just above the gym, but you must go around the houses and into the cave, deeper and deeper until you reach Groudon.

There are a few Mawile,
Zubat and Golbat but they shouldn't be a problem, use either timer balls, Ultra balls or the Masterball, but you could save that for the Lengendary bird that will appear after the Elite four have been beaten.

Good luck and don't forget to save it before you go into the cave, because you may fail at catching Groudon.

*sigh* it's sad how someone cannot know the answer to a simple question such as this. Well, you have to find the *dramatic voice* UNDERWATER CAVERN and defeat maxie and watch as he revives groudon.

After that archie comes running in and you all go outside to see what is goin on. Than you must go to sootopilous and defeat and/or catch groudon, than you can merrily walk into the gym and kill wallace slowly and painfully.

P.S.- the underwater cavern is near Evergrande City, in a very long and unsually large deep area O_Q b I'm done.
